Europe Removal & Storage Ltd

If you are looking for some blokes with a knackered, graffitied van to shift your stuff you may be fine but if you are looking for something more professional then I could not possibly recommend this company. In my opinion they are totally unprofessional.They are not members of BAR or the national guild of removers (had I known this I would not have used, I discovered this too late). They say on their website they have ‘decently prepared removals vehicles’ In my experience this was not true. They turned up nearly 2 hours later than I requested in a dodgy looking, graffitied van not big enough for the job. I could tell as soon as the van arrived it wouldn’t be big enough and sure enough they had to do 2 trips. They charge extra for this and also tried to charge ‘waiting time’ despite me being told we had them from 8am-5pm. At one point the 3 men were standing around doing nothing and said the van was full so they couldn’t do anything and we were now being charged ‘waiting time’ I suggested they started moving all the items from the garden onto the driveway so they were there to load onto the van for the 2nd run. They argued with me about this but eventually did it. Seems to me they look for a reason to charge ‘waiting time’ or anything else to up the price. They did stay past 5pm but I fully expected this with them arriving late. I spoke to the office several times before the move saying I was worried they wouldn’t be able to pack up our whole house and move in one day but was reassured several times it would be fine. In the end we ended up packing probably 80% of the house ourselves before moving day and my husband and I also helped pack on the day as it was clear they wouldn’t get the job done. Had we not packed so much I am positive it would not have happened in a day. The removal guy told us if it went over a day our stuff would be taken into storage (which we’d have to pay for) then we wouldn’t get it back until they were free to move us another day, possibly up to a week later! Which of course we’d have to pay them for! They made a hole in my son’s room which when I pointed this out to them they denied despite the plaster and flakes of paint being on the floor clearly showing it has just occurred. They also damaged my dining room table when reassembling it but didn’t tell me and left me to discover it after they left. I have contacted them about this and sent photos but no response. Moving house is known to be stressful but our move was made so much more stressful by this dreadful company. In my opinion and experience this is not a reputable company but some geezers with a knackered van looking for cash.

I have recently moved with Europe Removal Group Ltd and they are wonderful and helpful people. In fact Jenny & John were one of the employees who work in EUROPE REMOVAL GROUP LTD. Therefore how can the post be written by Jenny and John. IS THIS SOME KIND OF A JOKE?. When I rang, Jenny was the one to offered me the quote, she was very nice and helpful. I have a 4 bedroom house so therefore their SUPERVISOR JOHN visited my house. very nice and friendly. He even showed the insurance paper and registration. During the removals, I had no problems or anything. Surely those 2 names have put the real people under investigations.

Horrendous experience. The team arrived on time but the supervisor had to leave immediately as they had not brought an adequate amount of packing boxes despite a pre-removal day assessment.  This led to the removal men waiting for th supervisor to return and therefore had to rush the job.  We were charged an extra £100 on the day as 'we had too much to move' again despite a pre-removal assesment. No choice but to pay as they refused to move it otherwise, we were moving 0.5 miles.  Several of our expensive wedding presents were smashed depsite informing the removals men that these items were fragile. The supervisor was very rude, dissmissive and would not listen to any conversation from myself or my husband.  I have made several complaints by phone and email and as of yet have had no communication with the manager. I am in the process of taking the company to a small claims court in regards to the £250 damages occured. Do not use this company. I have four other photos of other damaged goods.

Absolutely terrible. Lied straight to my face when they came to do a survey. Atif, the manager, guaranteed BOTH VERBALLY AND BY TEXT dismantling and reassembling services even of gas appliances despite us asking him multiple times to make sure, but on the day the movers refused as they said this wasn't stated on their contract. That was the only reason why we chose to pay them more than another moving company, to save the hassle of finding additional engineers to do it. I tried to chase them up to complain but was blatantly ignored by them. Still no response from Atif. What an irresponsible salesman.

This was a terrible experience all round - Europe removers were aggressive and pushy, insisted we pay more upfront than agreed and threatened to not move us unless we did, which of course we had no choice to accept. They even tried to walk away threatening to leave us in the lurch. They didn't bring a large enough lorry and left half our stuff behind, which I had to go and collect later. furthermore some of our stuff was damaged which they made sure we couldn't see until everything was moved in. All in all a terrible experience.
Do not use - pay a bit more and get a professional company rather than these cowboys!  .

I was surprised with this company. They are terrific and did a very good job at doing my move. At first I was unsure to use this company due to the bad reviews on this website but I just went ahead with it since it was the cheapest price I received. However the move turned out awesome. I would recommend this company for sure. The sale person was nice and helpful and also the crews werw nice. I had to pay extra due to the extra belongings I have but overall it was good. Would definitely use it again.

The men that turned up to pack and carry out the removals were excellent, no problem with them apart from a few things damaged, but that happens.
The problem is with the company and the so called supervisor who turned up with the second van, which I was told on several occasions wouldn't happen.
But just as I had read in the reviews about this happening it happened. So I was blackmailed and had to pay for a second van.
I would never recommend this company to anybody because they liar to you from start to finish.
Whatever you do don't believe a word they say and find another company. I believed them and got ripped off like other people on here had been before.

We moved from London to Gloucestershire in October. I booked to have a 5.5t vehicle. On the day they sent me a 3.5t vehicle and told me it wouldn't all fit into 1 vehicle and that I would have to pay for a 2nd 3.5t vehicle. The "Supervisor" practically blackmailed me. Either pay or he would cancel the job. I wouldn't mind but I had sent an inventory of ALL items in the house and 3 emailed responses confirmed that a 5.5t vehicle would be sufficient. I would never recommend or ever use this company again. I will also be contacting trading standards as I never did get the service (i.e. Vehicle) that I had ordered and paid for. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!

I took it on good faith they would move my items without any problems. Several of my items which were display cases were damaged. Also weights from a weight lifting machine were missing and when I questioned them I was given excuses and I should have supervised their staff. Why should I look over someones shoulder when you pay for the service and are told everything will be placed into the trucks. Proficiency is our quality; Service is our motto; Customer is our priority! That last sentence is their company statement. None of those things appled to my move. Because it took me one day longer over the 7 day period to catalogue the damage, I was quoted their 7 day policy and told I would not be able to claim for damages. Also it has taken usalmost 2 months to finally organise my possessions and I found the weights to be missing. I asked them about this and have still not received an honest answer as to what happened to my weights. The old house was cleared of all remaining items with a skip so I can't check if they are at the old house. As a customer I am certainly no priority as they have shirked responsibility through their 7 day policy. DO NOT USE THEM. Alot of your possessions will get damaged. I have had about £3000 pounds worth of damage done and they had the cheek to charge me an extra 3 hours work because the house key was delayed in being released. It was all about the money and a terrible low quality service.

We have recently moved from 3 bedroom property, chose Europe removal for this job.

Required day before packing, as we had to empty the house by 2pm. 2 men came did all the packing and dismantled our wardrobes. They wrapped up all our goods such as tables,fragile items, our mattresses, sofas etc..

On the day of move they sent 3 trucks and 5 men, everything fitted well and the workers handled our furniture well.

Will definitely recommend Europe removal to our friends and families. Thanks guys.

A week back I moved to Watford from Brighton and I picked europe removal for the shifting.. I selected europe removal on advice of my mates at work, who got shifted to london recently. I have to admit that they did not disappoint me.. From the arrival of the team till delivering each and every box to my new accommodation, everything was faboulous and professionally done.. These guys did not give me any doubt or never allowed me to hesitate in giving them a 5 star performance..
I surely will be using their services again and I will be recommending others too, because these guys totally earned it and I had to praise their work.

Myself Pulkit and I am from Sheffield and I have 4 bed room flats and I got delivery on time . Salesman from company who came to deliver my stuffs is very good in manner and well behaviour . They help me a lot to pack my stuff and I recommend to others to use this service from same company . I am satisy and in future if I need any thing relate to this kind of thing then definatly I will contact them ..thanx a lot and very nice nd excellent service I appreciate and all are well train ..

Thank you for your help to move us from London to bath we will say thank you to all your team specially, David who help us lot with move some garden heavy pot and plants. They move my all house hold with in one-day pack and move. superb service, helpful, friendly, professional, very good and would definitely recommend them. Really happy with the service from Les and his team. Very punctual, and thorough and they took very good care of all our belongings. We will recommend this company to anyone looking for reliable and good moves.

Initially I was afraid as I had bad experiences in the past, but thankfully I wasn't disappointed this time. I was very impressed with the service I received from Europe removal and storage. The staff was very punctual, extremely polite, helpful and patient. I have tried removal firms in the past for my move and this is my fourth time lucky option. I would say this by far the best removal firm I have used as my move went extremely smooth. THUMBS UP. Recommended.
